Vincent began working in Africa for the French government, supporting international aid. It was there that he became aware of the impact of poverty and hunger worldwide, prompting him to dedicate his life to alleviating these issues. With 20 years of experience in the food sector, he is now the Senior Adviser for Oceans at the United Nations Global Compact, as well as the Director of the Food Program at the Lloyd's Register Foundation. In partnership with institutions and major brands, Vincent led the "Seaweed Manifesto," advocating for the development of the seaweed industry to address critical challenges such as hunger, climate change, pollution, and poverty. Vincent now heads the world's first global platform for seaweed stakeholders, the Global Seaweed Coalition, and actively advocates for seaweed in various media and high-level events worldwide.
This year, Vincent published "The Seaweed Revolution" (Legend Times) in English, a groundbreaking book that has already received numerous awards and accolades.
